Return Policy

RETURN POLICY

We regret that we cannot accept returns for fabrics or wallpapers for other reasons than manufacturer defect or shipping damage.  There is no exception to this policy.  Actual fabric yardage or wallpaper is not returnable, please be sure to order accurately.   All sales are final.

If you receive a fabric or wallpaper that is defective* or damaged, please email us at sales@theworkroom.llc or call us at 800-497-8042 immediately after receipt. We will set up a return authorization with the brand for the defective item.   A return label will be sent by email to have the item shipped back.  We will promptly have the replacement item ship out as soon as possible. If stock is not available, you also have the option of getting a full refund. All damage claims must be made within 10 days of receipt.  

Please note, dye lot variances are not considered defects and no return will be accepted.*

For wallpaper, please order accurately as all sales are final and The WorkRm will not accept returns for overage. It is best to contact a professional wallpaper installer before submitting your order.  It is always best to over-order wallpaper to ensure for large repeats and any possible future changes to your space.

Due to variances in monitors, the colors and patterns displayed may vary from the actual product.  If you want to know the exact color and pattern, we highly recommend ordering a swatch/sample or a cutting for approval for fabrics first.

Upon receipt of fabric or wallpaper, please carefully inspect everything before cutting or installing.  Confirm that you have received the correct item and quantity.

CLAIMS FOR LABOR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

No returns will be accepted if cutting or alteration has been made to the merchandise or if wallpaper has been hung -- please inspect carefully before cutting or using items.

Fabric and wallpaper cannot be returned for credit after it has been cut or installed. Yardage must be inspected for flaws and correctness of pattern, color, quantity and quality. Fabric and wallpaper cannot be returned for credit if it has been processed or installed by the purchaser in any way. No returns or cancellations will be accepted on any custom product or special-order items once the order is in production.

Since color variations often cannot be avoided from one dye lot to another, we will not issue a credit for dye lot variations*.   Buyer agrees to accept current dye lot offered by manufacturer. If Buyer under orders on their quantity, Seller cannot guarantee additional quantities to be in the same dye lot as original order.  

*Dye lot variance issues are not defects and will not be accepted for returns.  A sample comes from a random dye lot and it’s for the sole purpose of determining if you want that design.  Samples are not dye lot specific.  Actual dye lots can vary from samples.  For the exact color, we suggest ordering a cut-for-approval.  This is only available for Fabrics.  Please note: swatch color may differ slightly from finished fabric due to variations in dye lot.

*Natural fiber fabrics such as cotton and wool will vary from dye lot to dye lot.  Natural fibers take dyes differently due to the nature of the material.

*Natural fiber wallpapers such as grasscloth and wood may vary in color from different lots.  Even in the same lot there may be some variation as this is intrinsic to natural fibers. These type of items are expected to panel (visible seams) and have a range of color variation with in the dye lot.

Buyer agrees to accept current dye lot offered by manufacturer. If Buyer under orders on their quantity, Seller cannot guarantee additional quantities to be in the same dye lot as original order.  Seller HIGHLY recommends contacting a professional wallcovering installer to to confirm your exact amount required. There are no returns or refunds on quantities that have been over ordered.

All international orders are final, with no returns or exchanges accepted except for shipping damage from our shipping service.  If you are using a third party shipper, please contact them directly for any damages from shipping.  

The Work Room LLC offers no warranty service for orders shipped Internationally. 

Please note that items shipped back to us without pre-approval and a return authorization number will not be accepted and will be returned to you.
