Types of Tie Backs

Rope and cord tiebacks are the simplest and most classically proportioned style — twisted or braided cord with tassel ends that wrap around the gathered panel to hold it in place. Tassel tiebacks are the most formally opulent — large, decorative tassels with ornate heads and long skirts that hang prominently against the gathered drapery fabric. Key tassels are the smallest and most discreet — compact tassel forms used singly or in pairs on light drapery panels. Rosette tiebacks use a flat, fabric-covered rosette form as the holding element — the most contemporary and least traditionally-ornamented option.
