FABRIC & WALLPAPER RETURN POLICY
We regret to inform you that returns for fabrics or wallpapers cannot be accepted unless there is a manufacturer defect or shipping damage. All sales are considered final.
Keep in mind that the color representation on electronic devices may vary, and the colors shown in the image on the site may not precisely match the actual fabric or wallpaper. To ensure satisfaction, we strongly recommend ordering a sample before making a purchase.
Color variations between dye lots may occur, and we do not issue credits for such variations*. If an exact match is crucial, request a reserve and cutting for approval from the current fabric stock before shipping. Actual fabric yardage or wallpaper cannot be returned, and we strongly advise ordering samples before placing an order.
*Dye lot variance issues are not considered defects and will not be accepted for returns. A sample comes from a random dye lot and it’s for the sole purpose of determining if you want that design. Samples are not dye lot specific. Actual dye lots can vary from samples. For the exact color, we suggest ordering a cut-for-approval. This is only available for Fabrics. Please note: swatch color may differ slightly from finished fabric due to variations in dye lot..
Since color variations often cannot be avoided from one dye lot to another, we will not issue a credit for dye lot variations*. Buyer agrees to accept current dye lot offered by manufacturer. If Buyer under orders on their quantity, Seller cannot guarantee additional quantities to be in the same dye lot as original order.
*Natural fiber fabrics such as cotton and wool will vary from dye lot to dye lot. Natural fibers take dyes differently due to the nature of the material.
*Natural fiber wallpapers such as grasscloth and wood may vary in color from different lots. Even in the same lot there may be some variation as this is intrinsic to natural fibers. These type of items are expected to panel (visible seams) and have a range of color variation with in the dye lot.
Buyer agrees to accept current dye lot offered by manufacturer. If Buyer under orders on their quantity, Seller cannot guarantee additional quantities to be in the same dye lot as original order. Seller HIGHLY recommends contacting a professional wallcovering installer to to confirm your exact amount required. There are no returns or refunds on quantities that have been over ordered.
Upon receiving fabric or wallpaper, carefully inspect the items before cutting to confirm the correct item and quantity.
No returns will be accepted if cutting or alteration has occurred, or if wallpaper has been hung. It's essential to inspect fabric or wallpaper before any cutting or use, following hanging instructions meticulously. Professional wallpaper installers are recommended to avoid issues.
Fabric and wallpaper cannot be returned for credit once cut. Yardage should be inspected for flaws, pattern correctness, color accuracy, quantity, and quality.
No returns or cancellations will be accepted on any custom product or special-order items once the order is in production
PILLOWS AND CUSTOM MADE ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE DUE TO THE FACT THEY ARE MADE ON DEMAND.
CLAIMS FOR LABOR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
Damaged, defective merchandise or incorrect shipments will be credited for the full amount provided you make a timely claim in accordance with the instructions below.
In these cases, please contact our customer service department immediately upon receipt and we will arrange for a return label for the goods. Upon receipt and inspection of the merchandise, we will refund your account for the full amount of the order.
For customers in the European Union: Our fabrics and wallpapers that are cut to your specified measurements and are therefore custom-made goods exempt from the EU 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. All sales remain final as stated above. This exemption applies to all cut-to-order fabric purchases. For any questions, please contact us at sales@theworkroom.llc."
How to return damaged or incorrect goods:
If you receive an item that is defective or incorrect, please email us at sales@theworkroom.llc or call us at 800-497-8042, immediately after receipt. We will issue a return label for the defective item and promptly ship out the replacement item. If stock is not available, you also have the option of getting a full refund. All damage claims must be made within seven business days of receipt. Return must be completed in 30 days from receipt of order.
We do not accept returns for any reason other than damage, defect or wrong item sent in error. If you are unsure if a fabric or wallpaper will work for your specific needs, please contact us before placing the order.
