Minimum Order Requirements

Many designer fabrics, wallpapers, wallcoverings, and trims are produced or packaged according to manufacturer minimums. Requirements vary by brand and product and are reflected in the quantity options available on our website.

Fabrics & Trims

Many fabrics and trims have a 2-yard minimum order and may need to be ordered in 2-yard increments.

Some manufacturers permit a 1-yard order with an additional cut fee. These orders cannot be placed through the website and must be arranged directly with The WorkRoom.

Schumacher Fabrics & Trims
A 1-yard order may be available with a $45 cut fee. These orders must be placed by email or phone.

Kravet & Lee Jofa Fabrics & Trims
A 1-yard order may be available with a $25 cut fee. These orders must be placed by email or phone.

For standard online orders, the normal minimum quantity shown on the product page applies.

Wallpaper & Wallcovering

Wallpaper minimums depend on how the product is sold and packaged.

The following brands allow qualifying wallpaper sold by the roll to be purchased beginning with 1 roll:

• Brunschwig & Fils
• Cole & Son
• Kravet
• Lee Jofa
• Lee Jofa Modern
• Mulberry
• Schumacher roll wallpaper
• Stout
• York Wallcoverings

Other wallpaper and wallcovering products may require 2 rolls or more, depending on the manufacturer.

Wallcoverings Sold by the Yard

Some specialty wallcoverings are priced and sold by the yard rather than by the roll.

This includes select wallcoverings from:

• Schumacher
• Phillip Jeffries
• Innovations

Manufacturer minimums and required increments can vary by pattern and product, so there is no single minimum that applies to all yardage wallcoverings.

The applicable minimum or increment will be shown with the product information when available or confirmed before the order is processed.

Samples & Swatches

Samples and swatches may be ordered individually. Minimum-order requirements for full-size merchandise do not apply to sample, swatch, memo, or CFA selections.

Ordering in Required Increments

Some manufacturers require merchandise to be ordered in specific increments. When an increment applies, the product page will guide you to an acceptable quantity before the item can be added to your cart.
