Conceived by designer Carl D’Aquino of D’Aquino Monaco and inspired by a circa-1825 wallpaper screen in D’Aquino’s personal collection, this extraordinary scenic captures the Montgolfier brothers’ pioneering hot-air balloon flight over Paris in 1783. Our studio meticulously studied this rare wallpaper to preserve the remarkable detail and exquisite artistry of the original woodblock print. Towering 16 feet high and spanning 18 feet across, this transporting design brings historic Parisian charm to a higher level than ever before.
