Glant

Gary Glant studied architecture and international business at the University of Washington. In 1973 he opened a chain of contemporary fabric and design stores and moved to Finland to design his line of textiles drawing inspiration from his architecture background. The prestigious brand Kneedler-Fauchere got to know his newly created collection and offered to represent it. After this initial success, Gary founded Glant Textiles in 1976 in the city of Seattle. From this initial collection, the Glant Textiles’ catalog grew to include more than 2,000 options, becoming a leader in the interior design community. *Trevira: This collection is manufactured in Glant’s own mill in Northern Italy, combining the finest Trevira CS yarns, which are sought after for their ease of care, high resistance to abrasion and light, and flame retardancy factor.
