Sahco was established in Germany in 1831 with the goal of commercializing textiles. The company started as an importer of carpets, silks and upholstery fabrics from France and the Far East. Over time the brand started to be recognized as a premier provider of fine fabrics for interior design projects and became well-known thanks to its headquarters in Nuremberg and its showrooms in London, Milan, Munich, and Paris. In May 2018, Sahco was acquired by Kvadrat, one of Denmark’s most recognized textile companies and was able to combine two rich design traditions with a creative team that is able to compose products for an international clientele. Sahco’s collections offer high-quality, great taste, and a sense of luxury, and start with classical references that are reinterpreted with a contemporary touch. Its catalog features classic designs, rich textures, and vibrant color palettes as well as soft neutral colors, that create simple, harmonious, and luxurious collections. Currently, Sahco offers four different categories of products: cushions, drapery fabrics, upholstery textiles, and trimmings and tie-backs.
